 Organization Record
Arnold & Porter LLP
Pro bono is a core value of Arnold & Porter, a defining characteristic of our law firm, and a source of pride for our lawyers and our staff. Arnold & Porter’s goal is to have the leading pro bono program among all law firms -- a program that is respected and recognized by the legal profession and the communities the Firm serves as the best there is.

It is the longstanding policy of Arnold & Porter to encourage all attorneys to devote up to fifteen percent of their total hours to pro bono legal work. While participation in pro bono matters is voluntary, the Firm believes that pro bono or other public service work is the professional obligation of every attorney. At a minimum, all attorneys, including partners, counsel, associates and staff attorneys, are encouraged to work on at least one pro bono matter every year.
