In addition to Corporate Pro Bono, the Pro Bono Institute (PBI) administers various other projects aimed at facilitating the delivery of legal services to the poor and disadvantaged. Among these is the Law Firm Pro Bono Project. Since 1995, over 184 firms have enrolled to the Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge©, a national pro bono aspirational standard tailored to the needs of bigger law firms and sponsored by the Law Firm Pro Bono Project. Under the Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge Signatory firms agree to commit a percentage of their billable hours annually to the provision of legal services to the poor and disadvantaged.
