Role of Legal Departments and ACC Chapters

With the support of CPBO’s materials, all host organizations – CPBO, the legal department or ACC chapter, the law firm, and the public interest organization – are responsible for planning the Clinic in a Box® program. Depending upon the license option selected, either CPBO or the host legal department or ACC chapter will take the lead in administering the Clinic.  In addition, the host legal department or ACC chapter is responsible for recruiting the in-house volunteers for the Clinic.

As a part of the license, CPBO will provide form invitations and other materials to make this process run smoothly.

Legal departments or ACC chapters may also secure the Clinic location, arrange for CLE, and provide onsite support during the Clinic, as needed.
