The CPBO Pro Bono Partner Award recognizes innovative team approaches to pro bono work involving in-house legal departments. Recipients of the award must include at least one legal department and one or more law firms and/or public interest group partners and are selected by a subcommittee of the CPBO Advisory Board with assistance from the CPBO staff.
CPBO may present two awards: (1) to a partnership that includes at least one legal department of 50 or more lawyers; and (2) to a partnership that includes only legal departments with 49 or less lawyers.
Awards are presented annually at the PBI Annual Dinner. Winners are widely publicized in ACC, PBI, and CPBO publications.
The ACC Corporate Pro Bono Award recognizes outstanding achievement by a corporate counsel, a group of corporate counsel, a pro bono project, or a corporation in providing pro bono legal services. ACC announces this award annually at the ACC Annual Meeting.
